| Hi, I recently added a WEIGHT ROOM ORIENTATION Program using the SETUP PROGRAM menu in the Program Registration -> Setup and Maintainance. Now when I try to delete it it doesn't allow me to, instead it tells me "There are members already registered in this program. Program Delete aborted!". What can I do to delete the Program from there? Regards, Ranjeesh Yelamanchili

After you've enrolled a person into a program, even if you cancel them from the enrollment list, you cannot delete a program from the database because that enrollment and cancellation history are still associated with that program. If you delete the program, you lose the history. What you can do is delete all of the classes for the program, that way the program will no longer be listed in your enrollment list.

| So is there no way of deleting the Program... That program was just created for a testing purpose...and the history doesnt matter for this program...is there a way of deleting the PROGRAM if we dont want the history. The dataase looks bad if it contains invalid/incomplete/useless data! Regards, Ranjeesh

That is correct, there is no way to delete a program once there is history associated with it, despite the fact that it was created for testing purposes and the history is irrelevant. If you are concerned with the "clutter", you could possibly edit the settings for that program and turn it into a legitimate program, keeping in mind that any history associated with it would stay there under the updated program settings.
