| We are going to open our registration to on-line users and would like to know the pros and cons of doing this. We have explored the different areas that could cause problems, duplicates being one of our greatest fears. We are opening registration for the Summer to one course and to existing members only as a test. In the Fall we would love to open it up to everyone. Have any of you allowed customers to become members on-line and, if so, what positive and negative experiences did you encounter?

| Terri, I hope some other customers come online and share their experiences with you. In the mean-time, have you read our JCC Metrowest Case Study? It talks about how they went online with their programs and the success that they've encountered. You may even try giving them a call...

| Thank you PJ. I have not contacted MetroWest but will. I have tried to find the Case Study you mentioned (the link didn't have anything attached), and will continue to look. As always, you have been very helpful. Thanks..... Terri

| We use Online registration pretty extensively at each of our clubs. It is pretty easy to administer, however we have tons of trouble from a usability stand point from our customers. Members complain because it is clunky and hard to get around (might be the way that we organize our sessions, etc.), but non-members have tons of trouble trying to register online. Mostly the issues are from trying to register multiple kids or multiple classes at once.

| It seems to me that it would make sense for the User Login for online registration be their email address. This way we would have it to market to, but also it is one less thing for the user to remember. Has anyone tried this? Any ideas on how to migrate to this?

| Thank you for your response MLODES. We have officially opened on-line reigstration today, though it is very limited. We are looking forward to opening access to all of our programs by the Fall. I am encouraged by your response that it is not a bear to manage. I also think using e-mail addresses would make the process more user friendly. Is there a way to do this? Again, thank you for your input....
